A kids’ birthday party in New York is already a big day. My photo booth takes it to the next level; turning every giggle and glittery moment into a memory parents actually keep.

I’m Ben Hawes, the owner and operator behind Rent My Booth. Before launching this business I worked at children’s play spaces and a photography studio that hosted “Covergirl Parties,” where kids posed for their own magazine covers. I know exactly how to keep 6-10 year olds engaged and excited, and how to keep parents worry-free.

Why Parents Love It

Kids love the photo photo booth… but they also love to just have fun and play with the props. Bright sunglasses, superhero masks, sparkly boas: children wear them around the party like toys and dress-up gear, long after their turn in the booth.

As the person running the booth, my goal is to encourage your kids to be silly & have fun, and to inspire confidence and connection between the children.

I’ve brought my setup to Cocoon, CAMP, and other NYC kids’ venues. Every site manager loves that I carry full insurance (COI provided) and that my equipment rolls in quickly with no complicated wiring.
